Brookside Egress Windows Information
(AT A REASONABLE COST)
Stop the rain water from running down wall and through the open areas at either end of the plastic cover and collecting in the tub.
Stop leaves from blowing past the openings in the cover.
Improve the overall appearance of the egress window including down in the tub.
Have a quick release latch on the inside of the cover to prevent entry from the outside.
Have a properly installed down spout installed to direct the water away from the egress window, which will eliminate sink holes and prevent water entering the tub.
You can choose from several options and determine which improvement you would like to purchase. Just contact Bob Byrd (734-699-8736) and he will look at your particular window and explain your options and the cost.
There are several egress windows that have been completed, just walk over and take a look at the following addresses, 32925 (which has the least costly improvement) and 32948 and 32958 (which have the more costly improvement).
